Unsurprisingly, it’s not the greatest idea to begin a blog when you are internetless at home. I had planned to take my computer to work once in a while to write, but it’s a beast of a laptop I really can’t be bothered most of the time. Writing posts on my phone is not impossible, but it’s not really helping the carpal tunnel I’m pretty sure I’m causing in my right hand.
I’m not sure anyone that reads this even cares, but I’m still here. I’ve worked a lot of closing shifts the past week and those are exhausting. And annoying.
I did have a fantastic weekend though. Friday I made homemade gyros that were (mostly) without incident and (mostly) awesome. I think I need a food processor to perfect them, but I dug them, as did Keith. I used Alton Brown’s recipe. I also made him (Keith, not Alton) a lemon meringue pie, because I’m nice like that. Oh and then the Pens won the cup, obviously. Saturday I worked early but I won 50$ on a scratchy ticket and went to a Pirates game with Keith, his friends and 31k other people and we won again!
And now my weekend officially starts since I’m off Monday and Tuesday and don’t work until 5 Wednesday hoorayyyy! I’ll try to say something remotely interesting in that time.
